Dr. William Lin is a strategic thinker and innovator with a cross-disciplinary career that spansmaterials science, retail, private equity, and biomedical sciences. His career is marked by roles that have driven pioneering innovation and synergy across industries. Notably, Dr. Linplayed a vital role in Walmart’s entry into the Asian market, strengthening retail supply chainsand establishing new market strategies. At Marmon Group, his global approach to privateequity investment fueled significant cross-continental growth. Currently a Fellow at theHarvard Kennedy School, Dr. Lin channels his insights at the intersection of entrepreneurship,geopolitics, and health policy, continually advancing transformative research and practices.In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Lin has extensive experience as a crossgenerational mentor. Under the guidance of esteemed academic figures, including ProfessorGordon G. Liu, he has developed a structured mentorship approach to cultivate the next generation of global innovators. His academic contributions include innovative frameworkslike “Multi-Faceted Competition,” “Quantitative Intelligence,” and the “Art Thinking”methodology, a creative framework distinct from “Design Thinking” that draws on his profoundunderstanding of both art and science.
