MA Chao is an associate professor at the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University, and an affiliated research fellow at PKU-iGHD. He received his Ph.D. degree in Social Medicine and Health Management from Nanjing University, and he was trained as a Postdoc Fellow at School of Public Health, Yale University (YSPH). His research interests include health economics, and health policy and management. He has published a couple of papers in well-known journals such as Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Nature Communications, China Economic Quarterly, and Management world.
