LUO Yanan, Research Associated Professor, Institute for Global Health and Development and School of Public Health. She received her PhD in population, environment and health from Institute of Population Research, Peking University in 2019, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Peking University and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis International Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in 2021. Dr. Luo’s research focus on health inequity, mental health, demography and health, disability prevention. She has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers, and has lead and participated in a number of international-, national- and provincial-level research projects. She serves as the member of APEC Health Science Academy, Peking University (HeSAY), APEC Life Science Innovation Forum Rare Disease Network (APEC LSIF RDN), Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ANSER). Dr. Luo was invited to participated in WHO Expert Consultation Seminar on Regulatory Coordination in the Western Pacific Region, APEC Senior Official Meeting Life Science Innovative Forum related meetings, and UN Washington Group on Disability Statistics Training Workshop.
