The PKU Institute for Global Health and Development is led by a dean management team under the supervision of the Board of Directors. Its organization also includes the Advisory Council, Academic Committee, and Administrative Office. The Board of Directors is composed of representative leaders from the University, iGHD and the institutions that play a vital role of development for iGHD. The Board of Directors is responsible for deliberating and deciding iGHD’s significant matters, system rules, and the superintendent appointment. The Advisory Council, composed of domestic and global experts, is to guide the direction of the iGHD’s mission and development. It is also responsible for building a communication platform with international organizations, governments, and industries, assisting iGHD with external promotion. The Academic Committee is composed of senior faculty members with primary responsibility to set and approve academic standards for matters as faculty development, research code of conduct, and other major academic affairs.
